Cognitive ergonomics?
Cognitive ergonomics focuses...on
the design of the interface in accordance with user cognitive constraints.
It includes consideration of perceptual input processes (e.g. detection,
classification, and pattern recognition), central cognitive processing
(e.g. decision making, problem solving and memory) and perceptual-motor
processes (e.g. typing) (Shackel 1985).
